BUILDING BY-LAWS.
Sir,—ln reference to the.case of prosecution under the Tamaki Road Board's building by-laws, as reported in your issue of December 11, it should have read as follows :—The defendant was charged with using 3 by 2 studs in place of "4 by 2 in the external walls, and with using 4 by 2 jack studs instead of 4 by 3. Hoping this will make this matter clear to those interested. T. Scott, Building Inspector Tamaki Road Board.
