CITY AND SUBURBS CLUB.
The third shoot of the second trophy series was fired by members of the City and Suburbs Riflo Club at Penrose on Saturday. Ten shots were fired at each of the GOOyds. and 700 yds ranges, and. despite the strong wind prevailing, some good scores were registered The winner in A grade was A. C. Watson, with 47 at 600 yds. and 42 at 700 yds. The decision in B grade fell to a tyro. L. C. Eobertson. with 37 at fOOyds.. 36 at; 700 yds. and a handicap of 10. Detailed results are:— A Grade.—A. C. AKARANA CLUB.
Members of the Akarana Rifle Club completed competitions on Saturday for trophies presented by Mr. R. H. Abbott, Mrs. A. E. T. Devore. and Mr. G. G. Ashley. Ten shots were fired at 600 and 700 yards.
