ACCIDENT WITH JIGGER.
COLLISION WITH A TRAIN. TWO SURFACEMEN INJURED. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION'.] WELLINGTON. Tuesday. Two railway surfacemen were seriously injured yesterday as the result, of an accident on the Rimutaka railway line. Neil Peter Holbeck, aged 30, a married man, and Charles Jordan, aged 28, single, were descending the hill on a hand-pro-pelled jigger, when, rounding a sharp bend, they collided with a goods train, anil were, thrown heavily. Holbeck received injuries to his ribs and spine, Jordan had one leg broken, and his head and ribs wer* al>o injured.
