Last year the Adjutant distributed between 200 and 300 parcels. As is generally known, she is in touch with the poorest, and this will ba a guarantee that the of those who contribute to this special rand will not be misplaced. J. J. Toomeb. Divisional Commander, Salvation Army. Sir,—Will yon allow me to appeal onc» again for a Christmas fond for the children at St. Mary's Homes. Ther,e are between 40 and 50 little ones here at the present time, and many are quite friendless. These children are too small to be included it; the functions so generously provided for older children in Auckland, so we hope friends will send gifts of toys, supplies or money to enable us to mak« Christmas a happv time at the homes.
