TRAVELLER'S CLAIM FAILS.

A ease which had been heard twice previously in the Magistrate's • Court whs concluded before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., yesterday.

Edgar Stanley Laac, commercial, traveller, claimed £200 commission from his former employer, refer Carey, merchant (Mr. Lennardj, contending he was entitled to commission, by special arrangement, on a large quantity of goods sold by defendant's other travellers. Defendant held that plaintiff was entitled solely to orders he had booked, and that he had been paid in full for these. When tho case was first heard some months ago. plaintiff gave evidence, and after defendant had commenced his, an adjournment was granted. The action was then further deferred to enable plaintiff to peruse defendant's commission accounts,which the defence asserted proved plaintiff had received all the commission to which he was entitled. Yesterday the plaintiff, who wmducted his own case, was nonsuited after he had cross-examined defendant at length. Defendant was allowed costs.
