SOLDIERS' CLUB NOT WANTED.

HAMILTON. Wednesday.
A sum of £2270 originally collected for the erection of a soldiers' club at Hamilton was handed over by tho Soldiers' Club Fund Committeo yesterday to the Memorial Committeo for tho erection of a suitablo memorial in the Soldiers' Memorial Park at Hamilton. This transference of the fund has been rendered possible by recent legislation, ns it Avas found that tho need for a soldiers' club was past. A committee was set up to go into tho matter of calling for designs and carrying out the work.
