WHY GERMANY LOST.
LUDENDORFF BLAMED. . SECRET HISTORY REVEALED. LONDON. Dec. 1. Criticising the part played by General Ludendorff in the war. Professor Delbruck, the well-known German publicist, in a speech at Berlin, declared that Ludendorff, more than anybody else, was responsible for Germany's defert. " The e-impaign was lost." said Professor Delbruck, "by the incompetence of Ludendorff." Professor Delbruck revealed that at- tho' end of the war a special committee of the Reichstag Investigated Ludendorff's war record. " The evidence is in type," declared the speaker, " but I have not been able to discover why it is being held back." The professor added that Ludendorff doubtless possessed considerable tactical ability, but in the decisive campaign of 1918 he completely failed as a military leader.
