PAPATOETOE SCHOOL.

SUCCESSFUL EXHIBITION.

The annual show and fete in connection with the Papatoctoe school was hold yesterday, there being a large attendance of parents and friends. The opening ceremony was performed by Mr. W. J. Jordan, M.P., who complimented the school on the success of tho show, the work exhibited reflecting the greatest credit on all concerned. A feature was the splendid exhibit of vegetables and flowers from the children's homo gardens.

While the direct object of the show was educational and social, yet the school improvement fund will benefit to a considerable extent by tho proceeds from the various stalls.
