CYCLONIC STORM.
DAMAGE IN QUEENSLAND. TOWN OF BLACKALL SUFFERS. A. and N.Z. BRISBANE, Dec. 8. A cyclonic storm, which burst over the town of Blackall, caused considerable damage. Trees were uprooted and telegraph wires were torn down.- Tho Town Hall collapsed and took with it part of the roof of the telegraph office, which adjoined it.
Shops and offices, in the business part of the town were wrecked and unroofed. Several houses also fared badly.
The electric lighting system was thrown out of order.
Following the wind torrential rain tell, which accentuated the disaster. Full details are not vet' available, owing to the lines of communication still being down.
