TOYS FOR CHRISTMAS.

With the approach of the Christmas season toys are filling the shop windows in Brisbane. There are toys made in Australia, Britain, Japan, and Germany. The old familiar phrase " made in Germany," is to be seen everywhere again. The quantity of toys bearing this stamp is surprising. During the last four months toys from Germany of the value of £6269 have been imported into Brisbane. Evidently a bold attempt is being made to recapture the toy market.
