ENGLISH CRICKETERS.
THE AUSTRALIAN VISIT. PROSPECTS FOR TEST MATCHES. A. and N.Z. SYDNEY, Nov. 28. The captain of the visiting English cricketers, Gilligan, in an interview, said: "If we can all strike form the test matches should be very closeh contested, but who will win I cannot say. A lot will depend on Tate, who is the 'star' bowler." Gilligan anticipates high scoring on both sides. His team, he said, is about the best that England could turn out.
