ABDUL KARIM A PRISONER. CLAIMANT TO THE THRONE. A. and .N.Z. DELHI. Nov. 27. Abdul Karim, the pretender to the throne of Afghanistan, who has been waging war against the Ameer for some months, is now a prisoner at Kabul. Official opinion is inclined to minimise the importance of the rebellion.

Karim's claim is openly ridiculed by a section of the rebels.
