SEARCH FOR MINIMUM QUOTA.

Australian and N.Z. Cablo Association. (Reed. 8.5 p.m.) LONDON. Nov. 28.

The British Empire Producers' Association has decided to urge the Government to inquire into and fix the minimum quota of the country's annual wheat requirements which should be produced by the soil of the United Kingdom. They also urge that wheat beyond that quota should be of Empire origin, and that steps should be taken to organise the Empire supplies.

A message from Paris states that the Chamber of Deputies adopted a proposal by the Minister for Agrioulture to open a credit of 150,000,000 francs for the purpose of constituting a permanent stock of wheat to bo used as a weapon to counteract tho operations of speculators.
