TAKAPUNA JCCKEY CLUB.

The Takapuna Jockey Club will inaugurate another season at the North ' Shore with its .spring meeting, which is fixed/ to be held on Saturday '. November 29. and Monday. December 1 and. the programme issued in connection therewith showing prize-money to the extent of £6850, it whi be recognised that interesting figures are placed before horseowners. The Alispn Cup of £S6O stands out as the leading event of the programme, anil the St. Andrew s Handicap of £700 is another fine stake. ' The Cheltenham Handicap of £500 is the leading sprint event, and, besides 'a seven-furlons Welter Handicap, a brace of - £600 handicaps are provided for the twpryeiar-old . division, while four hurdle events citry the"good ' sum of £1100.
