A handicap clay bird match, 21 birds, for a stake 'of £50, was fired at the Ruakyra State farm to-day under the auspices of the Hamilton Gun Club. The judge was Mr. A. Seccombe, of Auckland, and there were 26 entries. TCie handicap was followed by several sweepstakes. A tricky wind affected the flight of the birds. W. Semniens (Whakatane) and M. Pratt (Otorohanga) tied for first place, with 20 birds each, and divided first and second money. The following" ore the principal individual scores:— Semmens (Whakatane), 20;' M. Pratt (Otorohanga), 20; F. Curtis (Auckland), 19; A. Dobson (Auckland), 19; C. Seddou (Hamilton), 18; Y. LotigVin (Hamilton). 17; R. Arnst (Christchurch), 17; G. McMicken (Hamilton), l 7; J.
