Curiosity as to the nature of an alleged mys-ieriocts ghost at Bethnal Green led to the appeu.vtnce at a Police Court recently of two youn\g men named Parker and Wil-
liams, who were charged with being found on enclosed' premises supposedly for an unlawful purpose. ; It was stated that, asked by a constable what they were doing there, the accused said, " \V<e have coine up here to see about the ghost business." At the police station, Parker said : " My father bei»g a bit of a spiritualist, we went to see about this ghost business." Mr* Watson (magistrata) : Is this part haunted ? '
( Parker: Supposed to be, Your Worship. Thousands get up there, every night. Mr. Watson: You had better be careful in future. Don't go investigating ghosts. ,You might get into trouble. You are discharged. , f
