FASCINATING NEW SERIAL.
Publication of a.captivating new serial, entitled " Heather of the South,'' is commenced in the columns of the New Zealand Herald to-day. The story gathers unusual interest by reason of the fact that it is tho work of Miss Rosemary Rees, a New Zealand writer who is now resident in Sydney and who already has a number of literary £ucccssc3 to her credit. " Heather of the South" has been accepted by a well-known London firm of publishers, and the Herald has secured serial rights in advance. Readers will find it a most enthralling story of New Zealand country and station life, rich in local colour and true to life as we know it in our own land.
