EXPENSE JUSTIFIED.

EMPIRE EXHIBITION.

SIR JAMES ALLEN'S VIEWS. Times. LONDON. Sept. 28. A special Empire Exhibition Supplement is published by tho Times. It includes massages from tho Dominions' High Commissioners dealing with the results of tho exhibition. Sir James Allen, High Commissioner for New Zealand, in his message, states that ho considers that the heavy expenditure was justified, as tho exhibition has proved to be' the most valuable educational factor which could possibly have been devised. It would bo a tremendous advertisement for New Zealand, and a great stimulus to Imperial trade and sentiment. He believed that the visits by school children, which ' were widely organised, would eventually bear rich fruit.

Sir Joseph Cook, Commonwealth High Commissioner, expresses similar views.
