The number of divorce suits dealt with in the Sydney Divorce Court last year was . 1564—a record. vlt is practically certain that a new record will be established by the end of the present year. ■ . _ - : : From March to September, 1923;: 1111 petitions were lodged, but for the corresponding period this' year 1124 ; petitions have been, lodged.
