Tho Rome correspondent of the Daily Chronicle states that Dr. Mario di Martinfusco, who is reported to have discovered the missing 107 volumes of Livy's "History of Rome," failed to answer the Government's summons to appear and produce tho volumes. His friends say he is hiding and working secretly on their translation, and will appear to-morrow.

Tho Exchange Telegram Company's representative says the polico searched Martinfusco's house and found no trace of the volumes.
