FARM WHITEWASH.
A wash that willy not rub off is made 'as follows: —Slake a quarter bushel of lime in boiling water, keeping it just covered with water while slaking. Strain through, a™ coarse cloth, , and to the strained liquid add half a nound j; of glue apd a little whiting dissolved in warm water. The add one pound oi rice meal that has been boiled in- water to a thin paste, and .a little creolin or .crude carbolic scid. Mix all the. ingredients well, and alldw the mixture to stand covered over for two or three days. The result is a wash that will stic|i, besides being an excellent dei odoriser and germ killer.• .
