A motor-car %vas wrecked in Carlton Avenue this evening- through & ■ head-on collison; with a Chirian!|an's cart. The five occupants of the i?ar were thrown violently on to the roadway. Two were admitted to the Wanganul Hospital; Mr. Alexander Sykes, a tally clerk, suffering from a , fractured skull, and Mr. Peter Hartshorln, a member of the Wanganiii Chronicle staff, suffering from severe bruises smd shock: ;'• ."'.'- • The others escaped witli minor injuries.
