Shy—ln your issue of Friday, when reI ferring to a charge of bigamy against an j accused person for whom I appeared, I ;am reported as having submitted that, j the: charge should bo dismissed, aS evi> jdenco had not been produced that accused I was aware his legal wife was alive when fhe contracted the second marriage. This is not an accurate report. My contention, was that the prosecution had failed to prove that the legal wife was alive at J the lime the accused went through the : second form of marriage with another woman. F. J. MbtTAT. .
