In Government Setimities Inscribed Stock, 1927; sold at £98, ijrith farther inquiry ; at £97 15s. Inscribed Stock, 1938> changed hands at flß7lGs, late buyers offering £97 ss, aellfers £97 15s. There y Was general inquiry for other loan issues, ) holders in most instances not responding. j In local body debenijures, City of Axick- ) land, 1952 issue, had}sale at £94 10s;. In ) ordmary debentures! business was done - in New Zealand Brfljweries at 225, more being available *at this same figure, buyers t offering 2Js lOd. In banks there was a sale of New Zealandsi at 55s 9d, at which figure the shares were quoted on the previous day. Late buyers offered 55s 6d, \ sellers quoting 565. Australasias again ' had inquiry at £13! 9s, and Union of Australia at £15. 2s 6d. Buyems of j Nationals of New Zealand increased their j offers by 2s to £6 lis, sellers £6 13a. In | insurances. New Zealands sought at 29s I id were again quoted at oUa. South > British, which were inquired for on > Thursday at 40s 6d,i had sales at 40s 9d |. and 41s, late buyers offering 40s 9d, . sellers 41s. In ga3; Aucklands Sold at t 26s Id, further buyers offering 25s lOd, s : sellers 26s 2d. In Devonport t Steam Ferry were again wanted at 25s 6d, and Northern Steamships at 16s 4d, sellers of the latter quoting 17s. Buyers of P. , and 0. Deferred Stock increased their .* offers by £4 to £j|76, sellers £285. In timbers there was a sale of Parker-Lambs . at 37s fid, with further inquiry at 355, sellers 40s.
