WORLD'S SHIPPING.
DECREASED TONNAGE. MANY VESSELS BROKEN 'UP. Reuter. LONDON. July 14. -A decrease in the world's tonnage, as compared with last year, is shown in Lloyd's register of shipping. This is the first time such a position has been revealed since the tables have been compiled. The total at the end of Juno was 64,000,000 tons, as compared with 65,000,000 tons in June last year. The British tonnage. at June 30 last was 19,000,000, compared with 19,250,000 a year ago.
