AUCKLAND PRESBYTERY.

ELECTION OF MODERATOR

REV. D. D. SCOTT CHOSEN.

The Auckland Presbytery met last evening. The Rev. D. D. Scott, of Onehunga. was elected Moderator. A site for a manse at Hobsonville was offered by a resident, Mr. Henry Clark. The offer was referred to tho Property and Finance Committee.

An application from Papaknra for a grant of £50 was brought forward by the Rev. T. H. Kosevear, who said that, nnder the Charge of the Rev. R. R. Greenwood, the church had made wonderful progress, and the enthusiasm of the parishioners was evidenced in the larger congregations. The matter was referred to the Properly and Finance Committee. A commission, comprising the Revs. G.\ Budd and C. J. Tocker, and Mr. S, J. Harbutt, was appointed to investigate matters in connection with the Dargaville Church. .
