PAPATOETOE BRASS BAND.

NEW PRACTICE ROOM OPENED

The Papatoctoe Brass Band wa v s installed in its new band room behind the Town Hall on Monday evening. The band, under the bandmaster, Mr. A. J. Ely the, played the National Anthem in the old practice room; and then marched to the new room, whero the National Anthem was plaved, followed by a short musical programme. Major Gibb, on behalf of the band, thanked the members of the Town Board for purchasing the materials for the building, which had been erected b- voluntary labour, and Mr. J. Franklin, chairman of the Town Board, congratnllatcd the executiyje pn ile work.
