FATALITY IN HOSPITAL.
PATIENT'S SAD END. FOUND WITH THROAT CUT. ■ A distressing fata'.ity occurred at the public hospital early yesterday morning, when a patient, 1 Lawrence Wyatt, aged 19, a farm hand, was found with bis throat cut. He was so severely injured that nothing could be done to save his life. '■.'•" _■. ■ ' .-'y. The young man was admitted to the hospital ■ from Omaha last April, suffering from acute rheumatism. He later had a very serious attack of heart trouble, and although very ill always kept cheerful. About three o'clock yesterday morning, when the nurse 'had just left him, she heard him coughing. She called for* assistance, and the patient was found with his throat cut by a razor. He had never previously showed any sign of mental trouble, •A . sister of the; young man lives , in Auckland, and he has other relatives ; in the country.
