HAMILTON CARRIERS MEET.
A CONFERENCE SUGGESTED.
[bx telegraph.—own correspondent.] HAMILTON. Friday. At a meeting of master carriers in Hamilton last evening enthusiasm was displayed in the building up of an association to look after the carriers' interests.
Among matters dealt with was that of heavy traffic on the. roads during the winter months. .... It was decided to meet representatives of the councils in conference to discuss the question and see if some amicable arrangement could not be arrived at which would 'be fair to all. ,It was stated that as the by-law stands transport would be brought to a standstill.
