BRITISH PREPARATIONS.
MAILS BY PARACHUTE.
A. and N.Z. LONDON, May 13. Three types of aeroplanes will shortly be constructed for the Air Ministry's trans-Empire service, which will eventually extend to Australia. The feature of the service will be mail carriers from which bags will be dropped attached to parachutes.
Another type will carry many tons of urgent goods. The passenger aeroplanes will be luxuriously appointed.
