DRIVER'S INSTANT DEATH. HEAD CRUSHED BY WHEEL. LOSES BALANCE OFF SEAT. An accident resulting in the death of Mr. William James Morley, a married man, 58 years of age, residing in Islington Avenue, Mount Eden, occurred in Kingstone Avenue, Mount Roskill, about 11 o'clock yesterday morning. Mr. Morley, who was employed as a driver by Winstone, Ltd., was in charge of a three-horse lorry loaded with scoria. He was driving the lorry over the kerbing to deposit the scoria on a building site, when he lost his balance and fell on to the footpath. One of the wheels passed over his body and head, death being instantaneous. Mr. Morley leaves a widow and three grown-up children.
