ROTORUA DUE TO-MORROW.. ■ The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Rotoraa., 'en route from London ana Southampton with passengers and cargo for New Zealand, is due at Wellington to-mor-row morning. The passengers will disembark at Wellington and the cargo will be discharged at) Wellington, Port Chalmers ana Auckland. THE PIAXO. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer - Piako, which is loading at East Coast ports, is due at Whakatane on Friday. From Whakatane the vessel comes to Auckland to complete loading for England.: She -will be despatched finally from this port on May 21.

ARRIVALS AT LONDON. The Federal Line steamer Westmoreland, the Shaw. Savill and Albion, steamer Tainui and the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Hororata are reported to have arrived at London on May '11 from New Zealand. The "Westmoreland left Wellington on March SO, the Tainui on April 4, and the Hororata on March 29.

CAPTAIN R. D. LOWDEN DEAD. News has been received in Auckland of the death of Captain R. D. Lowden, at London on March 22. Captain Lowden was well known in New Zealand when he was in the Shaw. Savill .and Albion service. He was at one tim<> in . command of the Waiwsrn and was master of the company's steamer Ranpatira when she was wrecked near Capetown some years ago.

TOFUA DUE 6 A.M. TO-MORROW. * The Union Company's Island steamer Tofua, en route to Auckland from Tonga, Samoa and Fiji; hao reported by wireless «hat she will arrive at 6 a.m. to-morrow. The vessel is bringing, passengers; and, a cargo of fruit, which will be landed at the Queen's Wharf. The. Tofua, will be despatched front Auckland for the Islands on Monday. . - "

THE NGAKUTA. The Union Company's Island steamer Ngakuta is loading fruit at Eastern Pacific Island ports for ' Wellington and Auckland. The fruit for this port is being carried at the came rato as though 'it was ' brought direct. The vessel is ; duo at Wellington toward the end of this month, and alter discharging a part cargo there she will come to Auckland to complete discharge and load. She is to sail from this port early in June and the Union Company advises that, she will proceed through to Papeete, but .it la unlikely she - will do.so on the July trip.
