SOCIAL SERVICE.
PRESBYTERIAN ACTIVITIES. CO-ORDINATION PROPOSAL. The co-ordinaiion of Presbyterian social service activities was considered in the course of a long discussion at a meeting of the Auckland Presbytery last evening. The Rev. G. H. Gibb, chairman of a special committee appointed to deal with the matter, moved a series of resolutions dealing with the establishment of an , advisory committee to supervise and coordinate social service work in all departments, and, with matters of finance and control connected therewith.
It Was unanimously agreed that Presbytery should appoint ; a new standing committee of seven, of whom three shall not be members of either' ■ the Leslie Orphanage or the Presbyterian Social Service Association committees. i 1
