SECOND CHARGE FAILS.

fBY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.} PALMERSTON NORTH. Wednesday. The second of the cream test cases commenced this morning in the Supreme Court. Henry Simpson and Alfred Wright were charged that during October last they conspired, to defraud the Cheltenham Dairy Company of £28 by furnishing false cream tests to the company. Accused pleaded not guilty. The case is similar to that heard yesterday, when Simpson and a supplier named Thomasen were acquitted on a like charge. The jury found the accused not guilty, and both were discharged. . : Simpson, with three other farmers who admitted their guilt, will be sentenced in respect of further charges to-morrow.
