In Government securities New Zealand War , Loans, 1938, available at £97 were wanted at £S6 15s. New Zealand Inscribed Stock, 1938 and 1939, were sought at £96 15s, sellers quoting £97. Soldiers' ! bonds had inquiry at £100 15s, and Soldiers' Inscribed stock at £100 10s. In local body debentures Borough of Devonports changed ha.nds at £102 10s, with late inquiry at £102. In banks New Zealands had buyers at 525, sellers 52s 6d; J National of New Zealand, buyers £6 14s I 6d, sellers £6 16a 6d; and Union of Aus- | tralia, buyers £14 lis, sellers £14 12s 6d. Australasias were sought at £13 4s, and , New South Wales at £41. In insurances New Zealands, quoted at 29s lOd, were wanted at 29s 9d. There were tubers for ; South British at 40s, sellers 4(ki 3d.
