The Minister for Marine states that he intends to ask the Government for a small grant to set up an experimental radio beacon, apparently on the lines of those mentioned in recent London cablegrams. It is understood that the site will Ike on Tiritiri Island, and members of the Merchant Guild will be invited to go to sea in the Tutanekai and test it.
