DEATH FROM STARVATION.
LONDON STREET TRAGEDY.
neuter. LONDON,. April 55. The Daily Express states that New Bond Street, the Empire's richest shopping centre, was the scene of a poignant tragedy. An old woman who war, selling matches collapsed in the- arms of the Hon. Mrs. Christopher Lowther, a passer-by, and died before an ambulance arrived. A French medical student who rendered first aid declared that starvation was the cause of the woman's collapse.
