FATAL INTERVENTION. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Eocd. 5.5 p.m.) SYDNEY. April 26. An elderly man, John Mulcaster Nicholson, was found lying in the road near Warren -with a gaping wound on his forehead and other .ninor injuries. He was taken to the hospital, where he died. Ho stated that a quarrel developed between two men, whom he endeavoured to pacify. He was knocked down, kicked, and struck on the head with a stick. Subsequently two men were arrested.
