FAMOUS AEROPLANE FIRM.
EXPANSION OF FOKKERS. LONDON. April 7. Fokker, the famous Dutch airman, announces that his firm has bought the former Wittemann, Lewis works at New Jersey, where it intends to build aeroplanes for the American army and navy on a large scale, says the Hague correspondent of The Times. It has also established near Madrid works which already are turning out machines for the Spanish Government. The Fokker Company proposes to erect works in several other countries, and also to start constructing aeroplane motors in order to make Holland independent of foreign countries. .
