AUSTRALIAN LABOUR.
CONFERENCE DISCUSSIONS.
DELEGATES FOR BRITAIN. A. and N.Z. MELBOURNE, April 21. The Australian Labour Party's annual conference approved of sending delegates to the British Empire Labour conference. The view was expressed that it was desirable to have representatives at Labour conferences abroad, with a view to lessening the dangers of workers being misled into future possible wars. The conference, after an address from a visiting representative of the International Reconstruction Committee, instructed the incoming executive to appoint representatives to co-operate in assisting German workers.
