' The Australian Jockey Club's Autumn Meeting was continued at Randwick today. ; The following are the results: — FLYING HANDICAP, of £1000: G fur.— Salrak, 8.0, 1; Valiant, 7.13, 2; Braehead, 9.2, 3. Thirteen started. As usual. Little Flower jumped to the front, but Braehead and Valiant were in front a furlong from the post. Sairak dropped from the clouds and won on the post by half a neck. Time, 1m 13 OJs. EASTER STAKES, of £750: for two-year-olds; 7 fur.—Spearfelt, 8.2, 1; Mctollus, 7.9. 2; Tullulah, 8.0, 3. Fifteen started. Tullulah led in the early stages, but was collared in the last furlong by Metellus and Spearfelt, the last-named winning by threequarter of a length. Time, lm 27Js. THE SYDNEY CUP, A handicap sweepstakes of £30 each, with , £6000 added and a gold cup valued at £200. The owner of the second horse to receive £1200 and the owner of the third £600. 2 miles. SCARLET, J. I. Winter Irvine's b m, 4yrs, by Bright Steel, 7.6 . . .. 1 STONY, E. Moss' br g. 6yrs. 7 5 ..2 KING OF THE FOREST, W. Munson's b e, aged, 7.10 3 Scratched: The Cypher, Standby and Mirthmaker Baro3C*a went to the front and was joined by Hit. The pair stole a march of six lengths on the field. Round the batik the field moved up, David floundering and being absolutely last. Pennybout and Stony took charge on entering the straight. At the distance Stony's prospects were particularly rosy, but Scarlet threw out a challenge a. furlong from the post and came on to win comfortably by three-quar-ters of a length. Time. 3m 28Js. Our Prince w.<s left at the barrier. Scarlet had hardly any friends, but won with a bit in hand. Stony's performance stamps the black as one of iho m"»l hon?flt performers Been at Randwick. Since ha was tested over distances he has invariably gained a place. Our Prince raced against luck, and notwithstanding that be was left at the post ho finished sixth.

Call Tin went to the front early, and won by half a. furlong. Cartoon did not start. Time, 4m 42|s. NURSERY HANDICAP of .£750: for two-year-olds; 6 furlongs. First Division.Noureau Riche, ' 7.3, 1 ; CRTichani, 7.11. 2: Irish Prince. 8.2, 3. Fifteen started. Irish Prince looked the winner at the half-distance, but, the field spread-eagled, and Nouveau Riche won on the rails by a lone head. Time, lm His. Second Division.—Valorem, 8.7, 1; Meenah. 7.12. 2: Coolahvillo. 8.0. 3. Fourteen started. The winner was located in fifth position, and accepted an opening a furlong from the post and won nicely. HIGH-WEIGHT HANDICAP of £750; 1 mile.-Julia Grey. 10.7. 1; Buckra, 8.13, 2Nygee, 8.7, 3. Won by a length. Time, lm 41s. Accarak flattered his lesion of admirers for a good part of the journey, lying handy at the head of the field, but he had vanished when the straight was reached. Dronso chased the place-getters home, a surprise to many, as his Saturday's performance in the Leger gave him little chance. RAPINE'S EASY WIN. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 1.20 p.m.) SYDNEY, April 21. The Telegraph, commenting on Rapine's win, says that the gelding had little difficulty la winning. Reod was holding -his mount in fourth place, and as soon as ho let Rapine's head go the race was over.
