U.S. NATIONAL POLICY.
COMMITTEE APPOINTED.
(Received 12.1> A.m.) Renter. * WASHINGTON. April 14. In declaring that the Government should take steps to put out-door recreational facilities within the grasp of the poor as well as of the wealthy, the President, Mr. Calvin Coolidge, announced the appointment of a National Committee of Out-door Life. The President charged the committee to promulgate a policy of coordination under Federal guidance of all activities in connection with out-door recreation, and to formulate a programme to serve as a guide for future action.
