FIRE AT KAKATAHI. [BY TELE<}BAI'H.~PBE!SS ASSOCIATION. '■':'■- : ;WANGANXJi; Monday. : The Kakatahi Post Office and store were destroyed by fire at -midnight, on Saturday, ■: nothing being saved except the safe < which contained postal documents. The storekeeper, Mr. James Matthews, left the building about 10 p.m., when there : was no sign of fire in the building. The old wooden structure, which was owned by Mr.-R Baddeley, waa completely destroyed. '■!'•>. -"":'''■! ■"''-' A temporary post office was opened at Kakatahi to-day. '
