PENSIONS TO PARENTS.
SONS KILLED IN THE WAR. INCREASE IN BRITAIN. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 11.35 p.m.) LONDON, April 7. The Minister for Pensions, Mr. F. 0. Roberts, announces that old people whose sons were killed in the war wilt Eave their pensions increased by ss. He considers the 25s at present paid to a single parent and the 35s paid to two parents to be inadequate.
