ROUND WORLD FLIGHTS.
AMERICANS PROGRESSING. AIR CRUISERS IN CANADA. (Boccivcxl "'.55' p.m.) A. and N.Z. SEATTLE (Wafehineton) Apl. C. The four United States air cruisers which are attempting a round-the-world flight are having as much trouble as the British party. They reached Seattle 'several days ago, and until to-day were detained here by bad weather. They left for Prince Rupert Land, Canada, this morning, however, and a message has been received stating that they have arrived there. The four American air cruisers which are engaged in the attempt to fly around the world left Santa Monica, California, on March 17. They flew north along the coast via Sacramento, Portland, Oregon, and Seattle, Washington, prior to proceeding to Prince Rupert Land. Thft route now will be via. Alaska and westward to the Alleutian Islands and Japan, thence across Asia. One of the machines was totally wrecked at Portland. Repairs evidently delayed their progress to Seattle. The American party is under the command of Major Frederick Martin.
