MINE MANAGERS' REPORTS. Four-in-Hand.At the Prospecting drive the leading etope has been carried along 20ft. The reef has varied from a line to 4in. in width. A little gold was seen in the stone, and dish tests were from good and fair to poor. The drive going south on the Tainui reef at the intermediate level was extended Bft., making a total of 114 ft. The reef has varied from Ift. to lSin. in width, and a few colours of gold were seen in the stone when breaking down. Some of tno quartz gave good dish prospects when tested. All operations have been suspended for a day or two &a everything is wet underground. •Moanataiari. —No. 9 Leader: The drive is now out 17t't. The quartz is heavily mineralised with iron pyrites and antimony, but no gold was seen in tho quartz broken. Cambria Eeef: We have driven out Bft. The reef is wider than the drive, but 13 in two portions divided by a horse of mullock. A few colours of gold were seen in the hanging-wall rib.
