CALL IN MIDDLE OF NIGHT.
I The sad fatality which occurred* at Stanley Bay on Saturday evening as the result "of a false fire alarm call might have been expected to serve as a lesson to irresponsible practical jokers. That at least one criminally foolish person has failed to be impressed with the tragic occurrence was evidenced about one o'clock this morning, when a false alarm was given from the automatic box at the junction of Edenclal© Road and Royal Terrace. The Mount Albert Fire Brigade answered the call- promptly, but the person who had broken the glass had disappeared. . .
