Mr. Justice Reed is at Cargen. Mr. J. O'Neill, or Sydney, and Mr. M. Beck, of Picton, are at the Central Hotel. Messrs. J. W. Thorny croft and E. J. Duff, visitors from Britain, are at the Grand HoteL Mr. A. C. McKelJar, of Wellington, and Mr. D. R. Fordham, of Tokomaru Bay, are at the Star Hotel. Mr. H. D. Raphael, of Wellington, is at the Grand Hotel, accompanied by his mother, Mrs. H. J. Raphael, of Christchurch. Messrs. W. F. Clarke and E. J. Doyle, of Longreach, Queensland, returned to Auckland yesterday from a visit to Rotorua. They are at the Grand Hotel. Mi;. H. Frost-, chairman of the Management Committee of the Auckland Rugby Union, and Mr. V. R. Meredith, leave this evening for Wellington to attend the annual meeting of the New Zealand Rugby Union, to be held on Thursday. Archdeacon Reeve has tendered his resignation as Archdeacon of Waitotara al |d car of Christ Church. Wanganui, where he has laboured for 12 years out. of 21 he has spent in the Dominion. He has accepted an invitation to Brancaster, Norfolk, England, where he spent his early boyhood, and will leave probably in about three months' time.
