ROTORUA opens SEASON. (by telegraph—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] ROTCRUA, Monday. The Rotorua Golf Club opened its course on Saturday afternoon. Mixed foursomes were Played, the winners being Miss Harris and Mr. Tuck. The .course was in very fine condition, promising; wed for the ladies' tournament at faster. MATAMATA CLUB. (bt TELEGRAPH. OWN CORRESPONDENT.) MATAMATA, Monday. About 100 players assembled at Burwood links on Saturday lor the Matamata Club's official opening. _ Mixed foursomes were played, resulting in a win for Mrs. Reedy and Mr. A. G. Yardley. HAMILTON COURSE. £i»7 TELEGRAPH.OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON, Monday. i The Hamilton Golf Club opened its season on Saturday afternoon. The weather was .sufficiently fine to enable play to be carried on. The links were in excellent order. Dr. H. Douglas, president of the club, ■welcomed the players and visitors. Mixed foursomes were played. - the winners being Misa Nathan and Mr. A. Gibbons, with a not score of 52. . PAPAKUIIA LADIES' CLUB. The Papakura Ladies' Golf Club will open tho season on' Saturday afternoon, with mated foursomes. The course has been made longer, and the fairways for this time of year are in good condition.
