The local factory lias produced 1000 tons of butter so far, and as the %ais&lent of 500 tons in butter-fat was transferred to Frankton during the season the output is regarded as, very satisfactory. The New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company has decided to levy id per lb. on butter-fat for the collection of cream within a 12-mile radius of the factory. A movement is on foot to establish a cheese factory about four miles from Otorohanga. _______
